Weekly Round-Up 6/10/2018

So yesterday evening I went out to water my plants and trees and when I came back into the garage I heard a bird chirping and movement in the eaves of the garage. Turns out there was a little bird trapped inside and she couldn’t figure out how to get low enough to go through the doors. We tried scaring her in the right direction but that was a complete fail. So before I went to bed I decided to leave the walk-thru door open and I put a bucket of water right next to the door thinking she was probably thirsty and once she found the water she could just go out the door. Well, apparently this technique works because this morning there was no sign of her. That was a happy ending. On the other hand, the wild rabbits have been chewing on the flowers that my Mom and I recently planted. Not such a happy ending. End of wildlife adventure, let’s move on to books.

TBR – I finished reading 2 books and then NetGalley decided to grant some of my wishes (the problem with wishing for things is that you might get them) and I added 3 books to the list. The grand total is now 276.

Goodreads Challenge – The main page counter is still being glitchy but I am back to being on track here.

NetGalley Score – Still at 84%.

John Connolly Challenge – I picked up the audiobook version of Book 6 “The Unquiet” and the narrator is one of my all-time favorites.

Coming Up – So I’m listening to “The Unquiet“.The Unquiet I have also started reading “Jar of Hearts” by Jennifer Hillier (releases on June 12th).Jar of Hearts After that, I can’t wait to pick up Suzanne Rogerson’s new book “The Sentinel’s Reign” (available June 29). The Sentinel's Reign

I hope you all are having a good weekend. Please comment below if you have a wildlife adventure you’d like to share.

Happy Reading !
