Morning everybody! My news for the day is that we had a week of hot (90 degree) temperatures this past week and my son turned 18. We got to spend a really nice week with my parents, they live about 1000 miles from us so we don’t get to see them on a regular basis. Summer is off to a good start here in North Dakota. So let’s turn now to the book numbers and see what they look like.
TBR – I took a couple of books off the list because I started them and they just bored me. I finished one book and one audiobook this week and I acquired 2 books. The total today is 275.
Goodreads Challenge – I discovered yesterday that the Goodreads challenge report on the front page has a glitch and the number I reported last week was not correct. The correct number this week is that I am on track.
NetGalley score – 84% again this week.
John Connolly Challenge – I got distracted by the Walt Longmire series and have not yet picked up book 6 of the Charlie Parker series. Hopefully, I’ll get started on it later this week.
Coming Up – I am currently reading “Fire In the Thatch” by E.C.R. Lorac. This is a title in the British Library Crime Classics from Poisoned Pen Press. I’m also reading “Lullaby Road” by James Anderson.
Also, coming soon is “The Sentinel’s Reign” the newest book by my favorite fantasy author Suzanne Rogerson.
It comes out near the end of the month and I can’t wait to read it.
I think that’s it for now guys. I appreciate all of you who follow me and regularly read my posts.
Happy Reading!
I was wondering about the GR challenge. My total wasn’t reflected correctly on my Home page of Goodreads. Thanks for letting me know I’m not alone.

If you click on go to challenge it will give you the correct number. Should have added that.

Haha – that glitch had me worried for a bit too! Ooh, I have Fire in the Thatch, too, and loved the other BL book of hers, Bats in the Belfry. Hope this one is as good! 😀
